Project Introduction
The American University of Armenia (AUA) Acopian Center for the Environment was founded in 1992 to protect Armenia's natural resources and biodiversity via education, research, and community involvement. The center promotes the conservation and restoration of natural resources and has different focus areas, including biodiversity conservation, clean energy, sustainable natural resource management, and more.
The Acopian Center for the Environment needed to update its website to improve visual appeal, keep content up-to-date, improve website speed, and make it more responsive and mobile-friendly in order to keep people informed about their community outreach events, research, education programs, and projects. That's when our technical team stepped in to improve the website’s effectiveness and increase traffic.
WordPress continues to be the most popular website builder on the market. 43% of websites on the Internet are powered by WordPress. It's simple to use thanks to a basic interface, and it's adaptable, allowing for a wide range of website customization options. Taking into account the mission of the AUA Acopian Center for the Environment, our skilled web development team focused on the most essential features to update the website, including mobile compatibility, well-organized information architecture, scannable content, good navigation, fast loading times, and browser consistency. To improve the functionality and readability of the website, we’ve added images that flip to reveal additional information about each function area whenever you hover over them. This well-formatted content separation helps customers easily navigate the site, find the information they are looking for and click on pages that interest them the most.
“As 70% to 80% of users conduct Internet research before visiting a company or making a purchase, you’ll need to boost your digital presence to establish authority, which is possible with the help of Digilite’s professional tech team.
